Graffitti artist David Choe is easily one of my heroes. He has a collection coming up with Upper Playground which documents the past 8 years of madness that he has been through. Although im not the biggest graf fan, his series that he did with vice television had an immense impact of my life. The night before my masters exams i spent all night watching a series of films documenting him and his cousin hitchiking across america. It is easily the most refreshing thing you will ever see. It reinforces my belief in human kindness. And highlights the poverty not often shown in the US.
