Alchemy is Wonderful

Most of you know that Friendly Fires eponymous début album was one of my faves from last year. I did realise that it wasn't for everyone. The sheer majesty of the single Jump In The Pool drew people in but the rest of the album didn't work as well.
So they boys from St Helens roped in the producer of Jump In The Pool (the band produced the rest of the album), Paul Epworth aka Phones aka one the best producers around.
And they came up with the single version of Skeleton Boy.

Also here is the description of how this amazing video was made.
Edgy, monochromatic music video for Friendly Fires, directed by Clemens Habicht. The band were transformed into Skeleton Boys as a nod to the track’s title, with the aid of double-sided sticky tape, fans and trillions of bean bag balls.
