I have to say kudos to Kitsune. The Franco - Japanese company combines a preview for their new Maison compilation and their latest clothing collection in the same video. Add to that watching models dress and undress and you have a great start in the morning.

Me Plus One

One quick update, it seems that the Dizzee track below is produced by Armand Van Helden. I have to say that the track reminds me of last year’s hit Mars byFake Blood.

A good friend of mine is writing his dissertation on Franco-Japanese culture. Kitsune is the perfect embodiment of the two cultures. The records label continually churns out the best compilations of new talent, whilst the clothing company makes exquisite and detailed classic pieces.

Anywho whilst everyone is going nuts over La Roux (deservedly so) another track off the Kitsune volume six has been on repeat this weekend. Appaloosa’s The Day We Fell in Love is ethereal, dreamy and reminds me of Kate Bush hanging out with Simian Mobile Disco. The James Kane remix is the pick of the crop.

This upcoming week at ldnnez will resemble this. Nothing can change the fact that this is the best song of the album and within the overall goal of the album this is where he reaches his climax. Or she does if you know what i mean.

Here is the first single 1901. The thing that always amazed me about this band is that lyrically they are 500 times better than most english bands.
